To my North East Bronx Community Alliance partners and all other community groups:
Boat clubs, businesses etc. would benefit from Manhattanites gaining access to our neighborhood by Ferry Service on the East River.
Or Bronx commuters, shoppers or patrons of the Arts that want easy 15 minute access to Manhattan from the Bronx.
Please send a “letter of support” to request from our New Mayor that our area in general be considered for a Ferry.
I have fowarded the information and leave it to you to decide…but if we do not support our area for a ferry we will not get it. Harrison Peck from the Bronx Ferry Alliance has fowarded a sample letter you can use….all his info is included for you use.
