Our Neighbor Silvio Mazzella has written a personal appeal for community assistance. Lets make it a point to get as many flip flops to the NYPD as we can.
On Tuesday, November 26th meeting, THE 49TH Precinct will take up a Special Campaign Collection of Flip Flops and Shoes for those affected by Super-Typhoon HIYAN in the Philippines. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. The impact, though small will nevertheless be significant and will truly help make a difference to those in need.
