Shots Fired In Van Nest By NYPD. Erratic Driver apprehended

Written by Adam Bermudez

On Tuesday night at approximately 4:45pm, a NYPD officer noticed a van
driving erratic and attempted to stop the van. After the van rammed a
car and went the wrong way on a one way street, officers attempted to
stop the vehicle again in the vicinity of Morris Park Avenue and
Taylor Avenue.

After the driver, Jason Henry, 39, attempted to hit the officers,
they discharged fire at the van, hitting the vehicle and not the
individual. The suspect left the vehicle and while attempting to
escape was apprehended. For more information and photos, see coverage
