While the sign still says “FNM Deli Grocery”, the new deli will be branded as Enzo’s Corner, and has already opened to moderately stocked shelves. A store opened at the location for a brief time over a year ago and with no success, and closed immediately. The store was listed by CN Direct Realty, located a few blocks down Allerton Avenue at the corner of Wilson Avenue.
The deli is located by a BX 26 bus stop, but no other commercial establishments are in the immediate vicinity. The store will face steep competition from Casa d’Oro and Battaglias Market, both located two blocks away in the heart of Pelham Gardens at Mace Avenue and Eastchester Road.
