Serranos Honor Bronx African Americans

Senator José M. Serrano and Congressman José E.Serrano fwill host their Annual Black History Month Celebration on Wednesday, February 19 from 10:30am-1:00pm at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, located at 1040 Grand Concourse (between 165th & 166th Streets).

This year’s honorees are Kelly Terry, Executive Director of The Point C.D.C.; O’Cynthia Williams, Parent Leader & Organizer of the NYC Coalition for Educational Justice and the United Parents of Highbridge; and Bernel Arthur Richardson, Executive Director of Bronx United Leadership of the Bronx (BULB) and former BOEDC member.  Richardson was also honored Friday in on the floor of the United States house of representatives by Cong. Jose Serrano.
