At last night’s Community Board 11 meeting, an official vote passed that resolved that the Board was in support of the City’s planning department to change the area designated as “Bronxdale” to “Allerton”. So we’re even closer, Northeast Bronxites, to not seeing “Bronxdale” on the map, which is fine as a street, but it’s not a neighborhood. A fact, which as board member Joe Thompson explains in the video above, has been clear to everyone for decades.
