Executive Board Nominations

Bronx Park East Community Association

​ “Team B-PECA”​

is expanding it’s Executive Board to 7 members,

and there are

​2​

openings!

If you would like to be a Team B-PECA Board Member,

come to the meeting to submit your name and run for the position.

All dues-paying members in good standing will be able vote in the June meeting’s Election

 to decide who the two new Board members are.

To Run: ​

You must have attended 6 meetings between July 2013 and June 2014 to be eligible to submit your name for nomination. So, if you have attended 4 so far, you MUST attend the May and June meetings to be eligible.

We will do a roll call at next Thursday’s meeting to tell everyone who is eligible to run for Board member(having attended 4 meetings since July 2013).

To Vote: ​

If you are not yet a dues-paying member of B-PECA, come to this month’s or June’s meeting

and pay your $20 yearly dues.

All dues-paying members also must have attended 6 meetings between July 2013 and June 2014 to be able to vote in the June Election.

​Partnership for Parks’ Donielle Lee will be at this month’s meeting to recruit volunteers for our

annual massive cleanup of our ​neglected treasure; Bronx Park East.

Mark it on your calendar and help us advocate for much-needed renovations

​to the Waring playground, basketball courts and exterior fences​

!

The attached “Spring to Life! Love Your Block 2014” brochure lists this cleanup,

as well as the many other weekly beautification and volunteer activities that

Team B-PECA and Cruger-Mace Block Association are spearheading all spring.

Including this Sunday’s “Spruce-up” of Zimmerman Playground,

near the Allerton Coops! See the attached flyer for more information.
