City Council Member Andy King was joined by New York City Public Advocate Letitia James (speaking below) at his annual “YOUTH SPEAKS” #Realtalk event on Tuesday afternoon at Evander Childs Campus on East Gun Hill Road.
The free, annual event is coordinated and hosted by the Bronx Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) in partnership with the Office of Council Member Andy King. The program brings together Bronx youth to discuss topics relevant to young people ages 13-21. In the past, forum discussions included politics and civic activities, careers and college and this year’s discussion focused on bullying, classism, stereotypes, ethic and healthy living.
