Bronx Born Legend Jerry Vale 1930 – 2014

Jerry Vale, an American singer and actor passed away Sunday at the age of 83.  Born Genaro Louis Vitaliano, Vale passed away in his home in California.

The crooner got his start at East Bronx singing venues and a Mount Vernon barbershop while a student at Evander Childs, before taking on the world.
