“We know from shelter directors that grants from The Mary Kay Foundation help keep the doors open for thousands of women and children who seek shelter from abuse,” said Anne Crews, Vice President of Government Relations for Mary Kay Inc. and a board member for The Mary Kay Foundation. “Each year, grants are awarded to at least one domestic violence shelter in every state, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. With support from this beauty with a cause campaign, we have an opportunity to get one step closer to breaking the cycle of domestic abuse.”

Since Beauty That Counts® began in 2008, Mary Kay has donated nearly $7 million (USD) to organizations worldwide that benefit women and children in countless ways. As a top beauty brand and direct seller in more than 35 markets, Mary Kay markets support local charities benefiting women and children through the Beauty that Counts® program.
