This past Saturdays Fundraiser Bakesale was a fun event. Coloring time, courtesy of Lovie Pignata Of Morris Perk. Also in attendance was The Bronx’s own Baron Ambrosia, and Bronx Chronicle Staff Annie Boller and Nilka Martell.
I don’t do this often but I’m gunna make a plea for help for Pedro Rosario and NYC’s Top Dog, Inc.. I was at the CB#10 meeting when Mr. Pedro Rosario first came in front of the board to tell us all of his new venture. To tell us all of his life’s dream. To tell us all how he would be sinking all of his savings into doing the work that most of us don’t give a second thought to. I thought it a courageous move. Risky but thought “more power to him”. Here is a man willing to go the distance for animals. Animals no one wants.
But now he needs help. The man willing to help animals with nowhere to go needs OUR help.
How can we help him help these animals in need? Let’s come together as a community and brainstorm. We need him as much as he needs us. If there are some out there reading this that are able to donate – PLEASE DONATE. If there is someone out there with a great idea to fundraise for Pedro and these animals in need – let’s get together and discuss this and be like Nike and JUST DO IT!

We found out yesterday that Pedro is now featured on Ellen Degeneres’ website – HOW AWESOME IS THIS?!?!
