Van Nest Library will be CLOSED – Thu 6/12-Sat 6/14

The Van Nest Library–located on Barnes Avenue between Pelham Parkway South and Lydig Avenue–will be CLOSED for three days later this week: from Thursday, June 12 through Saturday, June 14. This closure has been scheduled to facilitate necessary sidewalk repairs in front of the building. We will reopen on Monday, June 16 at 10am.

I have attached a revised version of our monthly events flyer, replacing the one sent out last week. As usual, please post, distribute, and promote as you please.

I have also attached two other flyers: one for the Professional Image Development workshop, originally scheduled for this Thursday afternoon, which has been postponed to Thursday, June 19 at 1:30pm; and one for our big Summer Reading Block Party, taking place on Friday, June 27. We hope you’ll be able to join us for this wonderful new community event.
