(BRONX, NY) – June 11, 2014 – Rooftop Films at Bronx Terminal Market’s FREE Summer Film Series is back! Mark your calendars, bring your beach chairs and enjoy a night under the stars with family and friends on Tuesday, June 24th, July 8th, July 15th and July 29th, 2014 in the Bronx. Meet us on Bronx Terminal Market’s Level 6 garage roof deck for pre-film festivities at 7:00 PM. Movies begin promptly at sunset.
AT&T and The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), in collaboration with Rooftop Films, announced that New Yorkers have selected When Harry Met Sally as the winner of this year’s first ever “Film for All” competition. The 1989 classic will screen at outdoor venues in all five boroughs on the evening of June 24th and Bronx Terminal Market was selected as the Bronx Location! Continuing with box-office hits, Bronx Terminal Market will feature Frozen on July 8th, The Odd Life of Timothy Green on July 15th and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 on July 29th.
Come early to save your seat and enjoy an evening of pre-film festivities with local Bronx community organizations and Bronx Terminal Market merchants. Your kids will love the interactive art activities hosted by Bronx Children’s Museum, the summertime themed pinwheels with the Bronx Museum of the Arts and “Simon Says” with Chuck E. Cheese’s. Join the rooftop dance party with 92.3FM’s jams and Hostos Community College’s Zumba demonstration.
