Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. addresses the crowd at his office’s annual 9/11 memorial event, The Bronx Will Always Remember.” The event, which took place on Friday, September 12, was co-hosted by the Bronx County Supreme Court and took place in Lou Gehrig Plaza on East 161st Street and the Grand Concourse. During the event, the names of all 144 Bronx residents who died in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, were read aloud.
