BOROUGH PRESIDENT DIAZ TO HOST ANNUAL ITALIAN-AMERICAN HERITAGE EVENT

On Thursday, October 16, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. will host his annual celebration of Italian-American Heritage & Culture Month, “Mese della Cultura Italiana,” at the Schiff Family Great Hall on the grounds of the Bronx Zoo.

This year’s honorees are former United States Senator Alphonse “Al” D’Amato, Department of Sanitation Supervisor Paul Visconti and Armand Paganelli, owner of Mt. Carmel Pharmacy in Belmont.

The event’s emcee will be meteorologist Mike Favetta of News 12 The Bronx.
