Urban Park Rangers: The Night Sky

New York City parks are great places to discover the wonders of the universe. The Rangers will be your guide to the solar system, discussing its science, history, and folklore, while using the naked eye to locate stars and planets. VOLUNTEER – Trail Day with Friends of Pelham Bay Park

Have fun and help the Friends of Pelham Bay Park maintain a wetland area on the grounds of the Bartow-Pell Mansion. Bring a long-sleeved shirt, your lunch, and something to drink, and wear appropriate footwear.
