To Monitor and Reduce Energy Use

 

 

WHO: Public Housing Chair Ritchie Torres, Intech21, Monterey Houses Tenant Association, Community Advocates

WHAT:  Council Member Torres is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony to announce an infrastructure upgrade in Monterey Houses in the Bronx. Monterey Houses is being equipped with heat sensors and energy meters, to monitor energy and heating use in apartments. This will encourage residents to reduce their energy use and create a more sustainable New York City Housing Authority.
