SENATOR KLEIN TO CELEBRATE ST. PATRICK’S DAY WITH THOUSANDS OF BRONXITES AT 17TH ANNUAL THROGGS NECK PARADE

Klein To Donate More Than 5,000 Shamrock Cookies to Parade Marchers In Honor of St. Patrick’s Day

 

BRONX, NY – State Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester), joined by local elected officials, community leaders and thousands of Bronxites will march in the 17th annual Throggs Neck St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the Bronx on Sunday, March 15th at 12:00 P.M. The parade will kick off at the corner of East Tremont and Lafayette Avenues, then trail onto Harding Avenue and conclude at Harding and Brinsmade Avenues.

 

Hungry marchers will be able to snack on green shamrock cookies from the Senator’s annual cookie cart throughout the parade. Senator Klein will be joined by this year’s Grand Marshals Agnes and Patrick Lynch, in addition to more than 21 bands and over 60 marching groups.
