BRONX, NY – State Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester) and the Sack Wern Houses Residents’ Council together hosted Senator Klein’s monthly bingo night on Friday, March 13th at the Sack Wern Houses in Clason Point. The event was attended by more than 100 community members and featured numerous rounds of bingo, light snacks, refreshments and dozens of prizes donated by businesses across the Bronx.
“Bingo night is a great event where community members, friends and family can come together and enjoy one another’s company, and if they’re lucky, win one of the many prizes donated by our terrific local businesses,” said Senator Klein. “This March, I’m proud to host bingo at the Sack Wern Houses, a group I have worked with for many years to address issues facing NYCHA residents. With tonight’s success, I’m already looking forward to our next big bingo night.”
All prizes were provided by local shops and restaurants, including tickets to the Bronx Botanical Garden and gift certificates to IHOP, Sabro Sura Restaurant, Dunkin’ Donuts, Joe’s Place and more.
