Carmen Rosa Will Be Lain To Rest Friday

On Monday, Bronx residents learned of the passing of longtime Community Board #12 District Manager Carmen Rosa. Ms. Rosa died suddenly on Friday night. Friends say she had been suffering from cancer for a few years.

Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. said, “Carmen was an invaluable advocate to the community board and neighborhoods which she served.”

Ms. Rosa will be buried Friday morning from the Woolworth Chapel in Woodlawn Cemetery at 10:00 AM.  She is survived by her children, Linda and Alfredo.
