Senator Marco Rubio Joins The 2016 Presidential Scrum

The Huffington Post reports that Sen. Marco Rubio announced today via conference call with top donors that he will run for president. The report says Rubio told his top donors that he is running because he feels “uniquely qualified” to pitch his Republican Party as one that will defend the American Dream.

In a swipe at Democrat Hillary Clinton, Rubio said the former first lady “is a leader from yesterday. And said that he “has always felt the United States is about tomorrow.”

Rubio joins fellow GOP Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz as announced presidential candidates. Mrs. Clinton announced her intentions yesterday via Twitter and YouTube.
