Council Member Andy King Celebrates with FDNY Its 150 Anniversary

Saturday, May 2nd, , the City celebrated the Fire Department’s 150th Anniversary with open houses at select Firehouses and EMS stations. Council Member Andy King stopped at all the stations in the 12th Council District in the Bronx to celebrate with the firefighters and to thank them for their bravery and service to New Yorkers. In addition to meeting firefighters, emergency medical technicians and paramedics, Council Member King was given a tour of each station, viewed demonstrations and was given fire safety tips.
