Barrientos had in fact been married on 10 separate occasions to men from foreign countries, and is believed to be currently married to four people.

Sentencing

JOSEPH MURPHY Murphy, who was found guilty at trial in September 2014 of Attempted Assault 3 and Harassment 2 along with fellow officer Jose Ocasio, will be sentenced for the February 18th, 2011 assault of 17-year-old Tyre Davis. Both defendants got into a heated exchange with the teen, whom Ocasio booked on a disorderly conduct summons. The officers later followed Davis out of the precinct into an alley opposite 210 E. 181st Street, where they were caught on surveillance punching and kicking the teen, or giving the teen a “tune-up” as the assault is colloquially referred to.

BRIAN MCGUCKIN NYPD Officer McGuckin is charged with 25 counts of Grand Larceny 4, two Counts of Forgery 2, two Counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, and over 150 additional counts including Official Misconduct and Criminal Solicitation in relation to the 2011 NYPD ticket fixing scandal that unraveled following the investigation into former officer Jose Ramos, who is currently serving a 12 ½ to 14 ½ year sentence.

Martin, a nursing student and an LPN at Columbia-Presbyterian,  had been displaced by Hurricane Sandy, and temporarily moved into co-worker Bloomfield’s Mott Haven apartment. The defendant is accused of strangling his roommate and leaving her body in a parked car.

AUSTIN BABB Babb is to be sentenced following a verdict of guilty for Murder 2, Assault 1 and Criminal Possession of A Weapon 2 after a month long trial in November 2014 for the August 7th, 2010 shooting at 1454 Grand Concourse. Babb was found guilty of killing 19-year-old Demetrius Jones and wounding three other individuals, including two other teenagers.

Calderon had previously gotten into a fight with Davis’ brother (also a corrections officer), and was being escorted through the facility when Larry Davis allegedly attacked him.
