Utica College Pioneers – Tutein Named USTFCCCA All-American

UTICA, NY – Bronxite and Utica College junior Rob Tutein was officially named an All-American in the high jump by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday.

The top eight student-athletes in each event from this past weekend’s NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships were honored as All-Americans.

Tutein placed fourth in the high jump after clearing 2.05 meters at the NCAA Championships hosted by St. Lawrence University on Saturday.  Tutein was making his first NCAA appearance and posted the highest individual finish in program-history.

He broke his own outdoor school-record on May 15, 2015 at ECAC’s and currently holds the program’s top mark of 2.08 meters in the outdoor high jump. This past season, Tutein placed first in the high jump in six consecutive meets.
