Dear Friends,
Since the launch of our Food Scrap Drop-Off program, including a pilot at Bainbridge Avenue Garden last fall and the three sites that rolled out officially this spring, we’ve composted over 5,446 pounds of food scraps. Help us do more by bringing us your scraps, and help the gardens in the process!
Save the date for this year’s annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 5 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Rainbow Garden of Life and Health in the Bronx.
Read on for a summary of upcoming gardening and composting events with Bronx Green-Up and the NYC Compost Project. To view all event details, as well as other community events, grant information, and resources, visit our Events page.
