Back To School KIDS Launch

Adolescent girls are urged to come out to Van Cortlandt Park TODAY 9/5/15 from noon to 3 pm to connect, learn and register with Ivy League C.H.I.C.S. Enter at Broadway and West 242nd Street and join the fun at the area between the Pool and Track.

Ivy League C.H.I.C.S. is a FREE Mentoring and Leadership Program for Adolescent Girls (12-18) launching this month at CUNY on the Concourse: Bronx Business Bridge.

The Back To School KIDS Launch is sponsored by the Bronx-based By Your Side Tutoring. Participants will be able to enjoy family activities, food, drinks, and music. There will be a Bike Raffle as well as 100 FREE backpacks for children and families signing up for tutoring with By Your Side Tutoring!

Ivy League C.H.I.C.S. was founded by Kiasjha S. White, who has over five years of experience working with youth aged 14-19 years old at community-based youth development organizations.

Ms. White founded Ivy League C.H.I.C.S. to serve as a support system for adolescent girls. The organization aims to provide tailored academic and life-skills support as well as early exploration activities and resources to broaden knowledge of self, society and the world around teen participants.
