Once inside, the defendant is accused of assaulting the complainant and demanding his money. Several officers responding to the scene sustained injuries attempting to arrest Diaz. The defendant will also be arraigned on Murder 2, Manslaughter 1, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2 charges for the October 26th, 2014 shooting death of Jorge Reyes- Romero.
