On Sunday, October 25th, the latin sensation, EC Salsero performed in his first Bronx concert at Lehman College’s 500-seat Lovinger Theatre. EC Salsero performed along with his 14+ piece orchestra.

Born Eddie Claudio, Jr. to Puerto Rican parents, EC Salsero, 25, was raised in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx. He has performed at the 2012 National Puerto Rican Parade, American Idol, The Voice, South Street Seaport and other places. He appeared on Empire City’s Lucky Break in 2012, where he finished in the Top Three.

Celebrity guests included Dean Morel. TO everyone’s delight, living Latin music legend, Joe Bataan performed a duet with EC Salsero.  They performed, “We like it like that.” Many Salsa and Latin music industry legends were on hand at the Lovinger theater to show their support for EC Salsero.

The 25 year-old Salsero says he is doing everything he can to make his mother and his late aunt, who past away last year, proud of him. Admirers say EC sounds a lot like his music idol Marc Anthony. The singer dedicated his performance to an empty chair that once belonged to his aunt who pass away.
