The Jungle Book Dominates U.S. and World Movie Box Offices

Disney proves once again that the jungle is where audiences around the world wanted to spend their time as ‘The Jungle Book’ dominates at the multiplex this weekend with a bear-sized $156.8 million and pushes this pre-summer season hit film to over the half billion mark through Sunday. 

Notably, Universal’s ‘The Huntsman: Winter’s War’ had its North American debut and in combination with the international cumulative box office to date of $80.2 million pushed its total to just over $100 million globally.
