BP DIAZ , ‘SOPRANOS’ STAR VINCENT PASTORE & DANCE PIONEER EDUARDO VILARO TO KICKOFF BRONX WEEK 2016

 

On Monday, May 2, 2016 (TOMORROW), Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and two Bronx Week 2016 honorees, actor Vincent Pastore and dance pioneer Eduardo Vilaro, will host a celebration of the “Best of The Bronx” to kickoff Bronx Week 2016. Over 150 people are expected to be in attendance at the event, to take place at Mike’s Deli in the Arthur Avenue Retail Market.

 

This year’s 2016 Bronx Walk of Fame inductees includes: Mr. Pastore, best known for his role in HBO’s hit series The Sopranos; Mr.Vilaro, artistic director of Ballet Hispanico, the nation’s first and oldest Latino dance organization; award-winning animator and director of Pixar’s “The Good Dinosaur,” Peter Sohn, and award-winning photographer and author, Arlene Alda.

 

The event will highlight the mentioned honorees of the Bronx Walk of Fame and will showcase leading businesses from across the borough.
