We would like to invite you to the Herman Badillo post office renaming ceremony at the Morrisania post office. In July of 2015, the U.S. Congress passed a bill to rename a Bronx post office after the Honorable Herman Badillo in order to commemorate him and all of his achievements as a Bronx Borough President, U.S. Representative, and Deputy Mayor of New York City. He was the first Puerto Rican to hold all of these offices. He was a strong voice in Congress for all and was one of the five Latino members of Congress to establish the Congressional Hispanic Caucus to address many issues of the Latino Community in the U.S. So we ask you to please join us in celebrating the Honorable Herman Badillo’s life at the renaming ceremony of the Morrisania post office.
The ceremony will be taking place on
Monday, May 23rd, 2016 at 9AM
The address is:
442 E. 167th St.
Bronx, NY 10456
