Join the City Council At The West Indian-American Day Parade, 9/5

Looking for something fun and cultural to do this Labor Day Monday (September 5)?

Then come march with the New York City Council in the 49th Annual West Indian-American Day Parade!

This annual celebration of Caribbean culture and pride is one of the City’s largest parades, drawing more than one million people to Crown Heights, Brooklyn, each year.  And this year, we’re very excited (and proud!) to have Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito serving as one of the parade’s grand marshals.

The flyer below contains additional details about the parade, which is scheduled to kick off at 11 am.  We’ll be meeting at 10:30 am at Eastern Parkway & Schenectady Avenue.

To RSVP, call (212) 482-6731 or e-mail westindianparade@council.nyc.gov.
