A pair of Bronx patrolmen can take a bow after going above and beyond the call of duty recently. The pair were observed coming to the aid of an elderly woman battling heavy winds as she crossed busy Morris Park Avenue on Wednesday, September 28.

After pulling over their vehicle over, the two officers assisted a crossing guard in getting the elder woman safely across the street. Once on the other side, the woman told them, “Don’t let me go.” The gentlemen in blue then escorted her to the side entrance of her apartment building.
