Soccer and Salsa At Yankee Stadium

This Sunday, October 23, the NYC Football Club will play its last regular season MLS game at Yankee Stadium.

 

In partnership with the team, the 161st Street BID is distributing free tickets to area youth groups and organizing an exciting and fun-filled NYC FC Fan Zone along E. 161st Street with giveaways, games and surprises.

On Tuesday, October 25, the 161st BID is sponsoring SALSA on the PLAZA in tandem with one of its BID businesses, Sweet Water Dance & Yoga. Come to Lou Gehrig Plaza at 161st Street and Walton Avenue, from noon to 2 PM.

 

“Much thanks to a Placemaking grant from NYC Department of Small Business Services which is helping to fund this dance event, the fifth in our 2016 music series,” said Cary Goodman,161st Street BID executive director.
