Over 2,000 students, parents and educators with 100 health and science professionals are expected to attend on Saturday, December 17, 8AM to 3:30PM, at Frederick Douglass Academy I, 2581 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard (between 148th and 150th) in Manhattan.
Attendees are encouraged to RSVP Mentoring in Medicine here by Thursday, December 15.
Students, parents and educators will participate in the Biomedical Pep Rally, the Speed Mentoring Lunch, the Ask the Expert Activities Fair, a Scientific Poster Competition and the Health and Science Jam.
Mentoring in Medicine (MIM) is a 501(c)3 organization based in New York City focused on providing academic enrichment and youth development in science, technology and health from 3rd grade through college. We also focus on leadership development, civic engagement and mentoring. Science Pathfinders is our school based 3rd through 12th grade educational division. Since 2009, nearly 50,000 students, parents and educators have participated in an MIM event or program.
