Eva Moskowitz Releases Statement on Betsy DeVos Confirmation
New York, NY — After the U.S. Senate HELP Committee voted on Tuesday to approve the nomination of Betsy DeVos as Education Secretary, Eva Moskowitz, Founder and CEO of Success Academy released the following statement.
“I’m a Democrat, but believe our children’s education should be a bipartisan issue. I am glad that the Senate Health Education Labor and Pensions Committee voted today to move Betsy DeVos’ nomination.
“Betsy will be a tireless advocate for America’s school children. She recognizes the importance of parent choice and will work with governors and local leaders to ensure that all children have access to better schools.
