U.S. Trade Deficit Declined in December 

​The U.S. Census Bureau reported that the Nation’s international trade deficit in goods and services decreased to $44.3 billion in December from $45.7 billion in November — based on revised figures.

The U.S. continues to import more goods and services than it exports to other nations. The Trump administration has pledged to change that with new trade international agreements.

Exports increased to $190.7 billion in December from $185.7 billion in November. Imports increased to $235.0 billion in December from $231.4 billion in November.
