The Healthy Homes Program at The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is offering FREE pest inspections to all families with a child under 21 years that has persistent asthma. The family has to have pests ( mice and/or cockroaches) in the home and agree to an inspection. The referral for the service has to be made by a physician. If you identify any of your clients, please direct them to their provider. The provider can access the information at http://nyc.gov/health/cir to refer the child.
