Chairman Crowley Statement on LGBT Pride Month
(Queens, NY) – House Democratic Caucus Chairman Joe Crowley (D-NY) issued the following statement commemorating LGBT Pride Month:
“I am proud to join our LGBT communities in Queens, the Bronx, and across the nation in celebrating our country’s diversity this Pride Month. This is a time to honor the strength, spirit, and resilience of our LGBT community and recognize that while much progress has been made, more must be done to ensure true equality. As a strong and determined ally, I will continue to push for policies and actions that ensure equal rights and protections for every American.”
