Voting Booths

Today is Primary Election Day in New York City. In Bronx County, there are contests for Mayor, Borough President and City Council.

Polls are open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The city’s official Voter Guide, available at http://voting.nyc/, has everything voters need to get ready to vote for the city they want.

The Voter Guide is produced by the New York City Campaign Finance Board (CFB) to help city voters make informed choices at the polls. The Guide includes profiles of candidates for municipal offices, including their websites, social media handles, and top three issues.

To report problems at a polling site, voters can contact the Board of Elections or the U.S. Department of Justice, Voters Section at 800-253-3931 FREE or e-mail voting.section@usdoj.gov.

Voters encountering barriers to access at their polling sites can report those issues or problems at polls by calling the State Attorney General’s hotline at 800-771-7755 or emailing his Civil Rights Bureau at civil.rights@ag.ny.gov at any time between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Election Day.
