The Washington Post and other media outlets report:
“Over dinner at the White House, President Trump, Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi planned to work out an agreement to help the roughly 690,000 undocumented people protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program that is set to expire in June, according to people familiar with the meeting.” Schumer and Pelosi claimed that the agreement included immigration reform and not building a border wall between the US and Mexico.
Hours later, the White House disputed the Democratic leaders claim.
Last night, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted out a denial: “While DACA and border security were both discussed, excluding the wall was certainly not agreed to.”

On Thursday morning President Trump also tweeted out a denial of the reported deal. Trump also tweeted his continued support for building a wall, the need for border security and his sympathy for the plight of DACA Dreamers: “No deal was made last night on DACA. Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent. Would be subject to vote.”
