Three Sought in Cruger Avenue Shooting

Police are looking for the gunman who open fired on an 18 year-old male along Cruger Avenue, in the Pelham Parkway section on Saturday, September 16.

Officers from the 49th Precinct were called to 2167 Cruger Avenue after the victim was transported to Jacobi Hospital in a civilian automobile.

The unidentified victim was reportedly shot at least one time by one of three men at just before 11 p.m., the victim was expected to survive.

Police were looking for the three men who fled in a green Jeep Cherokee.

Officials at One Police Plaza would not confirm one published report that the victim was also shot in the torso. Police also say that no arrests have been made in the incident.
