The season is quickly slipping away for the Fordham University football Rams after their 41-10 loss to the Yale University Bulldogs Saturday evening at Rose Hill in the Bronx. Fordham (1-4) has lost three straight for the first time since 2011.
The return of pre-season All-America and senior running back Chase Edmonds did not help the offense as the Rams had 300 total yards including a 283-163 margin on the ground. Edmonds, who has missed the last three games with injuries to his thigh and hamstring was limited to 16 carries and 83 yards.

All five touchdowns from Yale came on the rush, three from DeShawn Salter who finished with a total of 118 yards. Fordham quarterback Kevin Anderson who threw five touchdowns in a loss to Bryant last week was limited to 180 yards passing.

Yale remained undefeated at 3-0. Fordham travels to Lafayette next week for their first Patriot Conference League game, the first of their next three games on the road before returning home to Rose Hill against Lehigh on Saturday October 28th.
