Trump ratchets up Puerto Rico criticism, threatens to pull FEMA
NBC News is reporting that President Donald Trump this morning stepped up his attacks on Puerto Rico, claiming its infrastructure was a “disaster” before it was hit by two hurricanes. He threatened to pull out federal emergency management workers from the storm-ravaged island.
Trump tweeted, “Puerto Rico survived the Hurricanes, now a financial crisis looms largely of their own making.” says Sharyl Attkisson. A total lack of accountability say the Governor. Electric and all infrastructure was disaster before hurricanes.”

Democrats immediately ripped Trump, saying he continues to treat Americans there as “second-class citizens,” and saying he would not make the same threats about Texas or Mississippi.
