Police have arrested and charged a Castle Hill teen in the wild shooting outside Maestro’s Caterers in the Morris Park section on December 28, that left one teen dead and a second wounded.

Sincear Williams was shot and killed outside of Maestro’s on Bronxdale Avenue on December 28.

Police say that as the party was ending, the victim Sincear Williams, 16, of Clason Point was among a group of a few hundred teens outside the hall when a large fight broke out at just after midnight.

Williams was shot one time in the neck and died a short time later at Jacobi Hospital. An unidentified 17 year old male was shot in the arm and was treated and released.

The large group quickly dispersed after the shooting, leaving winter coats, other items of clothing and a cane on the ground that members of the NYPD’s Crime Scene Unit would need an entire day to process as evidence.

Thanks in part to a $10,000 reward put up by the Williams’ family attorney, police received a tip that led to several witnesses picking the suspect out of a photo array, that eventually led to the arrest of Kameron Wallace, 19, on Wednesday, January 31.

One published report claimed the brawl broke out at the 75-guest event when hundreds of teens attempted to crash the party after learning about the event on social media. The unconfirmed report added that the gate-crasher’s then picked a fight with invited guests.

Wallace reportedly began fighting with Williams and shot him as he lay on the ground. Wallace was charged with murder and remains held without bail.

Maestro’s is a popular banquet hall that often hosts wedding receptions, graduations and political events.
