The Bronx Chronicle proudly welcomes Ray Negron as a contributing columnist. His association with the New York Yankees goes back to his days as a bat boy and his long association with the late George Steinbrenner. As a community consultant with the Yankees, he and co-owner Hank Steinbrenner continue to assist children and youth with organized baseball through the Hanks Yanks nonprofit organization.
Negron, a Bronx native, resides in the Tampa/St. Petersburgh area and is an award winning writer of children’s books and novels and is a producer of short films. He also writes a column for NY Sportsday.com and Newsmax. He is heard every weekend on ESPN 1050 Deportes Impact radio.
