Chairman Crowley Statement on Supreme Court Decision on Workplace Arbitration Contracts

(Washington, D.C.) – House Democratic Caucus Chairman Joe Crowley (D-Queens, the Bronx) issued the following statement on the Supreme Court decision on workplace arbitration contracts:

“This Supreme Court ruling undermines workers by upholding corporations’ restrictions on their employees’ ability to defend their basic dignities and rights in court.

“It is now incumbent upon Congress to strengthen critical federal workers protections. I will continue to fight to ensure that American workers have higher wages and better opportunities, and I hope my Republicans colleagues will join Democrats to better protect America’s hardworking families.”
