The “badly decomposed” body of a man washed up along the rocks near the Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point Park, after reportedly being found by playing children.

Fire officials were called at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, to the Trump Golf Links owned by the private corporation of President Donald J. Trump, located at 500 Hutchenson River Parkway in the Throgs Neck section.

Journalists from both News 12 and the Daily News were quickly kicked off the property by golf course security.

Police sources would only say that it was a man, found along the rocks near the Whitestone Bridge. However, one police source stated that the body was found 500 feet from the Trump property, while another police source stated the body was found on the Trump property. At least one police official had originally stated that the victim was female.

Police are waiting for the Office of the City’s Medical Examiner (OCME) to determine the exact cause of death before opening an investigation or closing the file.

Contacted late Monday, July 30, Aja Worthy-Davis at the OCME, stated that the “determination is pending,” on the cause of death and identification.

Coincidentally, on June 28 the body of 26 year-old Haley Downen washed up along the the Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Her death was subsequently ruled accidental.
