LA Fitness, located in the Hutch Metro Center where the future Marriot long-term stay hotel will soon open, has finally opened its door for business.
The place has gotten rave reviews from many locals who have been waiting for months after an original opening date had been delayed.
At least one patron hasn’t been a fan, though.
“ After much hype, the place looks huge from the outside, but the lobby and reception area take a huge chunk. The entire gym is laid out as a circuit training area, with not much room to improvise on exercises,” said Luis Pichardo. “There aren’t really that many pull-up bars and the weight limits aren’t even that high!!! Dumbbells only reach up to 100lbs, cable machines only reach to about 95lbs. Not conducive of high intensity workouts or bodybuilding at all.”
But if you aren’t a bodybuilder, the new spot might be right up your alley.
