15-year-old Sergei Gordeyev killed his geography teacher and wounded a police officer Monday. He was taken into custody after negotiations with police and his father.
As the Wall Street Journal reports,” [He was] described by peers as a straight-A student, entered School 263 in northeastern Moscow in a long women’s fur coat that concealed two rifles, fellow student Lyudmila Arkhipova recalled in a Russian television interview. There he shot his geography teacher point-blank in the chest and head before taking roughly two dozen students in a classroom hostage, she said.”
